abstract |
A binding reaction of a substance having affinity, which is a substance to be measured, with a binding partner having a binding affinity with the above substance having affinity is measured through agglutination reaction. Carrier particles having the binding partner bound thereto are bound with the substance having affinity in an electric field, and the level of carrier particles agglutinated is evaluated by the numeration using three-dimensional information of the particles as indicators. The use of the three-dimensional information as indicators allows the detection or measurement of the presence of a biologically specific reactive substance, with more ease and simplicity with greater speed and also with higher sensitivity, as compared to a conventional measuring method. |
