The invention concerns messenger RNA (mRNA) stabilising elements, which, when fused to selected nucleic acid elements, extend the half life of the selected nucleic acid elements or recombinant messenger RNA formed. The invention also relates to a method for enhancing protein production by fusing messenger RNA stabilising elements to selected nucleic acid sequences, which are able to express the desired protein. The messenger RNA stabilising elements are preferably from the hrpA gene. |
