A composition containing a medicine being extremely slightly soluble in water, which is prepared by providing a composition containing the medicine being extremely slightly soluble in water and a porous silica characterized in that it has an average pore diameter in the range of 1 to 20 nm, the pores having a pore diameter of ±40 % of the average pore diameter occupy the 60 % or more of the total pore volume and, in the X-ray diffraction, it exhibits one or more peaks in a position of the diffraction angle (2θ) corresponding to a d value of 1 nm or more, and subjecting the composition to a treatment with a supercritical fluid or a subcritical fluid of carbon dioxide; and a method for preparing the composition. The composition containing a medicine being extremely slightly soluble in water is excellent in the elution of the medicine being extremely slightly soluble in water. |
