The invention relates to a composition and to the production and use of said novel composition. The inventive composition is obtained by means of the instantaneous dissolution of pure iodine in the solid state in the essential oil of Melaleuca Alternifolia (tea tree) and/or Quinquenervia (Niaouli). Said composition is stable and can be used for the treatment of herpes labialis and/or herpes genitalis. |
