(a) protein with amino acid sequence shown in Sequence ID No. 2 of the sequence listing; (b) protein with amino acid sequence shown in Sequence ID No. 2 of the sequence listing, the amino acid sequence at one or some amino acids having deletion, substitution or addition, which protein has activity of imparting salt stress resistance to a plant; and (c) protein with amino acid sequence shown in Sequence ID No. 2 of the sequence listing, the amino acid sequence at one or some amino acids having deletion, substitution or addition, which protein has UDP glucose 4-epimerase activity.
