abstract The present invention provides a water-based polyurethane composite useful in preparing a synthetic leather comprising fine particles having a mean diameter of 0.5 - 50 µm contained in a water-based polyurethane chain-extended product at 0.1 30% by weight on the basis of the total weight and also being in the viscosity range of 500 - 100,000 cps; and a water-based polyurethane synthetic leather of a novel structure in which an adhesive layer is added between a porous layer and a base layer to increase the adhesive strength between the porous layer and the base layer, thus the resulting synthetic leather can exhibit good properties such as a high adhesive strength, high chemical resistance, etc. and an excellent cushiony property, which is particularly useful as a material for shoes.
