titleOfInvention Garments having edible components and methods for making same
abstract A garment (10) having edible components (10) associated therewith can be made by stringing apertured edible items or candies (C) onto fabric portions, for example, waistbands of panties, bikinis, etc. Strings of fabric (18, 20, 22, 24) can accommodate a variety of different types of edible materials (C) and such materials can be of many shapes and sizes, in particular can reflect any particular holiday event in the year such as hearts for Valentine’s Day, shamrocks for St. Patrick’s Day or pumpkins for Halloween, etc. The garments can be re-used with or without rethreading edible items or candies (C) of choice, and a kit for facilitating this practice forms one aspect of the present invention.
