Replication assay for discovering antiviral substances using a high throughput screening (hts) method |
abstract |
The invention relates to an high throughput screening (HTS) testing method based on the virus of the bovine viral diarrhea (BVDV), which is analogous to the hepatitis C virus (HCV), in an in-vitro replication test with infectious BVDV on bovine cells and provided in the form of a one-pot method. The test method is suited for the simple and rapid testing of large substance banks with regard to the discovery and characterization of novel inhibitors for flaviruses. |
