titleOfInvention Replication assay for discovering antiviral substances using a high throughput screening (hts) method
abstract The invention relates to an high throughput screening (HTS) testing method based on the virus of the bovine viral diarrhea (BVDV), which is analogous to the hepatitis C virus (HCV), in an in-vitro replication test with infectious BVDV on bovine cells and provided in the form of a one-pot method. The test method is suited for the simple and rapid testing of large substance banks with regard to the discovery and characterization of novel inhibitors for flaviruses.
