A method and a device for mounting conductive balls on one face of an arranged body in a specified pattern, the method wherein an arrangement member having one face and the other face opposite to the one face and a positioning open part disposed to match the pattern, opened to the one face and the other face, and allowing the insertion of the balls therethrough is positioned so that the other face of the arrangement member is opposed to one face of the arranged body. The device comprises two or more linear members disposed with the axes thereof generally aligned with each other. A shaking-in device disposed so that the linear members are allowed to abut on the balls fed to one face of the arrangement member in a generally horizontal attitude is moved horizontally relative to one face of the arrangement member, and the balls are placed on one face of the arrangement member through the positioning open part. |
