abstract |
The invention relates to oral and dental care agents, containing: an active ingredient combination (A) of at least one cationic component with an anti-bacterial action, (B) at least one active ingredient with an anti-tartar action, selected from the group of azacycloalkane diphosphonic acids or their physiologically compatible salts and (C) at least one binding agent, selected from xanthan gum, carboxymethylcellulose or a mixture of said two components. The oral and dental care anti-bacterial agents do not cause the discoloration associated with chlorohexidine and reduce or prevent discoloration to human teeth. This is unique for oral and dental care agents based on chlorohexidine. The inventive oral and dental care agents also have a tartar prevention and plaque reducing action. |
