titleOfInvention |
Composition and method for immobilizing a substance on a solid-phase support |
abstract |
The present invention has an objective of providing a method for simply immobilizing a substance such as a biological molecule to a solid-phase support. The method allows the substance such as the biological molecule, once immobilized to a solid-phase support, to be substain-released when dissolved in a specific solution, or allows the biological molecule, immobilized to a solid-phase support, to substantially maintain or improve its affinty to a biological organism. The present invention achieves the above objective by providing a composition for immobilizing a substance on a solid -state support including (a) a complex of a positively charged substance and a negatively charged substance; and (b) a salt. The present invention also provides a solid-phase support (device) having such a composition immobilized thereon and a method for immobilizing the substance to the solid-phase support. |
