A method for stabilization of highly concentrated formaldehyde solutions containing >70 wt. % CH2O with respect to solid precipitation, wherein the highly concentrated formaldehyde solution is heated directly after production at a heating rate of at least 5 DEG C/min to a temperature of at least 80 DEG C to 200 DEG C maximum and is stored at a temperature within said range. |
