Method of transdermal and transmucosal absorption of carbon dioxide and cosmetic method and therapeutic method |
abstract |
It is intended to provide a method whereby cosmetic and therapeutic effects of carbon dioxide absorbed transdermally and transmucosally can be conveniently and strongly obtained. In this method, a treatment for increasing the amount of the transdermally and transmucosally absorbed carbon dioxide is performed before or during the administration of carbon dioxide. More specifically speaking, this treatment comprises a adding a carbon dioxide absorption auxiliary containing at least one liquid for dissolving carbon dioxide selected from the group consisting of water, lipids and organic solvents to the skin or mucosa. Alternatively, the treatment comprises lowering the temperature of the skin or mucosa. |
