It is intended to provide a fused DNA vaccine which is prepared by constructing a fused gene (a fused DNA) of a gene originating in an intracellular protozoa parasite (for example, tubercle bacillus, malaria parasite, toxoplasma, etc.) with a ubiquitin gene. Using the gene vaccine to each infection host, a ubiquitinated pathogen antigen (i.e., a gene product) is processed with a proteasome and thus CD8+T cells specific to the pathogen are strongly induced. Namely, it is intended to provide a gene vaccine characterized by containing a gene consisting of a gene originating in an intracellular protozoa parasite and a ubiquitin gene bonded thereto. |
