abstract |
The invention relates to a nucleic acid construct comprising a polynucleotide sequence encoding a hydrophilic gp100-derived recombinant protein. The invention further provides a hydrophilic gp100-derived recombinant protein, compositions, methods and uses thereof for the treatment and induction of immune response against a malignant disorder, particularly, melanoma. More specifically, the invention provides methods and compositions for inducing the production of specific both helper and cytotoxic T lymphocytes by using antigen presenting cells (APC) loaded with a hydrophilic gp100-derived recombinant polypeptide, in the treatment of malignancies such as melanoma. |
