titleOfInvention | Novel m- phenylendiamine derivatives as coupler components for the colouring of keratin fibres |
abstract | The invention relates to means for colouring keratin fibres, in particular human hair, comprising at least one m-phenylenediamine derivative of formula (I) as coupler component in a cosmetically-acceptable support, where the groups R<1>, R<2>, R<3> and R<4> independently = H, C1 to C4 alkyl, C2 to C6 monohydroxyalkyl, C3 to C6 polyhydroxyalkyl, C1 to C4 alkoxy-(C1 to C4) alkyl or a group of formula (II), where X = saturated alkylene with 2 to 6 carbon atoms, such as for example a linear or branched alkylene chain, an alkylene ring or a combined form thereof, which can optionally have one or more substituents selected from hydroxy, C1 to C4 alkoxy or a halogen and Het = a 5-, 6- or 7-membered monocyclic, uncharged heterocycle, containing at least one nitrogen, one oxygen or one sulphur atom with optionally two substituents which are not H, selected from C1 to C4 alkyl, C1 to C4 monohydroxyalkyl, C1 to C4 monoaminoalkyl, C1 to C4 alkoxy, hydroxy or an amino group optionally substituted with one or two C1 to C4 alkyl groups and R<5> = H, halogen, C1 to C4 alkyl, C1 to C4 monohydroxyalkyl, C2 to C4 polyhydroxyalkyl, C1 to C4 alkoxy-(C1 to C4) alkyl or C1 to C4 alkoxy, with the proviso that at least one of R<1>, R<2>, R<3> or R<4> is a group of formula (II). Said m-phenylenediamine derivatives permit a colouring with high colour intensities, good light and washing fastness and a good levelling capacity. |
