The invention relates to novel oil-in-water emulsions, which are stabilised by glycerophospholipids and/or sphingolipids and contain at least one particulate raw material that is insoluble in the emulsion and has a maximum average particle diameter of 200 νm. The invention also relates to the non-therapeutic use of said emulsions as topical skincare compositions for improving the appearance of the skin by optically concealing skin irregularities, e.g. fine lines, wrinkles and folds, scars, pimples or open pores. |
