abstract |
The present invention is directed a rheology control additive for solvent based coating and ink formulations comprising an overbased carboxylate or sulfonate in combination with a hydrocarbyl succinic anhydride based dispersant. The combination of dispersant with carboxylate or sulfonate offers proportionately less viscosity decrease at elevated temperatures and control of viscosity under various shear rates. |
