The invention further encompasses a spiral filtration module wherein the fold line, side seams (28) and/or axial seams (30) of the membranes (10) utilized in the module are reinforced with a UV curable adhesive (18). The present invention further encompasses the method for making such leaf packet (16) and spiral filtration modules.
