abstract The invention relates to a cationic lipophilic compound of general formula (I), wherein: a) R1 and R'1 independently represent an alkyl chain, alkenyl chain, or polyalkenyl chain of 10 to 24 carbon atoms, the polyalkenyl chain being provided with 2 to 4 double bonds; b) R2 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl chain with 1 to 4 carbon atoms; c) R3 represents a group of formula (IIa), i.e. -(CH2)n-, or formula (IIb), i.e. -C(=NH)-NH-(CH2)n-, n representing one of the whole numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4; d) A+ represents an organic cation; and e) X- represents an anion.
