titleOfInvention IMPLANTABLE MEDICAL DEVICE WITH AIR ANTENNA ASSEMBLY
abstract The invention relates to an implantable medical device comprising an enclosure, an electrical module relating to the desired stimulation, detection and communication functions, a source of energy, an air antenna, and structures supporting all these elements. The antenna consists of an elliptical shape in a quarter maximizing the antenna surface in order to facilitate the emission of electromagnetic waves through the enclosure. A support structure allows the antenna, module and battery to line up with each other and with the enclosure. The support structure contains contacts in order to facilitate the electrical connection of the antenna to the module and positions the module so that the contacts on it are close, in plane and in elevation, to the external electrical through-holes of the enclosure and to the contacts d antenna on the support structure. The support structure positions the antenna between the module and the enclosure, the separation, by a determined minimum distance, facilitating an effective coupling of the electromagnetic waves towards the antenna and / or coming therefrom.
