Tires for heavy load |
abstract |
Tires for heavy load, made by using as the tread rubber a rubber composition obtained by blending 100 parts by mass of a rubber component consisting of 90 to 30 % by mass of a natural rubber (a) and 10 to 70 % by mass of a styrene/butadiene copolymer rubber (b) produced by solution polymerization which rubber contains tin at least one site on the midway of the polymer chain or at the ends thereof and has a styrene content of 28 to 45 % by mass and a vinyl content of less than 30 mole % based on the butadiene moieties with 40 to 60 parts by mass of a filler component which consists of carbon black (c) and silica (d) and in which the amount of the silica (d) ranges from 5 to 20 parts by mass. The tires for heavy load are remarkably improved in irregular wear resistance without impairing the heat build-up properties and the wear resistance. |
