A fluorine-containing polymer solid electrolyte which has an excellent ionic conductivity and a high oxidation resistance and is electrochemically and thermally stable is disclosed. The solid electrolyte has a sufficient strength and can be used in various electrochemical devices. The solid electrolyte contains (A) an amorphous fluorine-containing polymer having a structural unit represented by a formula (D) in a main chain and/or a side chain, which structural unit includes 5 or more continuous chains of a unit derived from a fluorine-containing ether, (B) an electrolyte compound, and if necessary, (C) a solvent. The ionic conductivity of this solid electrolyte measured by an alternating current complex impedance method at 25 ˚C is 10-10 to 101 S/cm. This solid electrolyte is useful to various electrochemical devices. |
