This method includes transforming the ephemeral beauty of the gift to a more permanent or eternal manifestation that symbolizes the feelings of the gift-giver toward the recipient. This result is conveniently achieved by converting the organic material of the gift to a synthetic diamond. The synthetic diamond can be prepared by transforming the organic material of the gift to a carbon or carbon-containing compound; and then converting the carbon or carbon-containing compound into the synthetic diamond. |
