The present invention relates to methods of treating pain in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering effective amount s of a norepinephrine ('NE') precursor and a prostaglandin ('PG') antagonist. A NE precursor can be threo-3-(3,4 dihydroxyphenyl)serine, a derivative thereof, or a pharmaceutically-acceptable salt thereof. A PG antagonist can be a cyclooxygenase (e.g., COX-1 or COX-2) inhibitor. |
