titleOfInvention | OLIGOMERIC DYES AND THEIR PREPARATION |
abstract | Process for the preparation of an oligomeric dye by reacting a first oligomeric component having a carbon-carbon skeleton and having a plurality of polymerized monomer units comprising free reactive nucleophilic or electrophilic functional groups, and a dyeing component having a group coreactive functional. The oligomeric dyes according to the present invention are suitable for use as additives to impart coloring or fluorescence to thermoplastic polymers, in particular olefinic polymers. Said oligomeric dyes are advantageously compatible in polymers in which the conventional dyes have low compatibility or solubility. |
