Gentle sulphating method |
abstract |
The invention relates to a method for the production of sulphated alcohols, whereby an alcohol which is to be sulphated or a mixture of two or more alcohols which are to be sulphated are reacted with one acidic sulphation product of an alcohol (carrier) or a mixture of two or more acidic sulphation products of alcohols (carriers). At least one acidic sulphation product of an alcohol transfers at least one part of the acidic sulphate group thereof to at least one alcohol which is to be sulphated in the transfer conditions. The invention also relates to a composition which can be obtained according to the inventive method. The invention further relates to a composition which contains at least one product which is produced according to said inventive method. |
