| abstract | The invention relates to a safety-signalling system for sportsmen and women. The inventive system consists of (i) a radio frequency emitter comprising a power source (4) and switches (6) for selecting the signal to be emitted and (ii) a radio frequency receiver (12) comprising indicator lights (11, 13, 14) which can be activated upon reception of the signals emitted by the aforementioned emitter (4) by actuating the switches (6) for same. According to the invention, the emitter is mounted to the apparatus or to a component (8) of the apparatus which is used to practice a sport and the receiver can be supported by the apparatus or carried by the user, e.g. on a helmet (10). |
