abstract An incubator (1) and a culture device capable of reducing contamination by dirt and bacteria in each treatment process with a simple structure, the incubator (1) wherein a culture medium container (3) having culture medium sealed therein and a waste culture medium container (4) capable of storing fluid in a main culture container (2) are connected to the main culture medium container (2), in the sealed state to the outside, through connection pipes (5) and (6) capable of limiting the flow of the fluid therebetween, and the inside volumes of the containers (2), (3), and (4) are made variable; the culture device comprising a case having recessed parts for storing the containers (2), (3), and (4) and a pressing means for contracting the containers in the recessed parts by applying an external force thereto.
