A tubular ceramic honeycomb structural body (1) used for catalyst carriers utilizing catalytic action or exhaust gas particulate collecting filters of internal combustion engines, boilers, chemical reaction equipment, and reformers for fuel cells, comprising a plurality of cells (2) forming a fluid flow passage partitioned by partition walls (3), characterized in that the shape of the cells (2) are triangular at the end of the ceramic honeycomb structural body (1), the thickness of the partition walls (3) is 5.5 mil or less, and a cell density is 230 cell/in2 or higher, whereby even when the cell density is increased, the durability of the ceramic structural body against a damage by a thermal stress when the structural body is used can be improved. |
