abstract The invention relates to an electronic device, in particular a mobile multimedia communications device, which is provided with a housing, input means, an electronic circuit, memory means and an energy source. The device comprises at least one VRD (virtual retinal display) system (15, 16) for processing an image or data source and projecting the same in the form of laser beams onto the retina (N) of the user of the device. In addition, said device has a station for audio, video and data communication that receives and transmits signals via a radio network or other transmission devices. Said signals can be exchanged by means of a bluetooth, wireless LAN, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, DAB system, 4G or 5G system or via any telephone cable, radio or satellite network. The invention thus provides a cost-effective device, which has an excellent image quality and a high image resolution.
