titleOfInvention Process for producing solution containing ubiquinone-10
abstract A process for producing a solution containing ubiquinone-10, comprising the steps of: [1] providing a culture obtained by culturing a microorganism capable of producing ubiquinone-10 on a medium, a product of treatment of the culture or a crude purification product of ubiquinone-10, adding a methanol solution thereto so that the concentration falls within the range of 50 to 100 v/v%, and storing the mixture at 0 to 30ºC; [2] separating insoluble matter from the solution produced in the step [1]; [3] adding a methanol solution of 85 to 100 v/v% concentration to the insoluble matter obtained in the step [2] and storing the mixture at over 30 to 80ºC; and [4] removing insoluble matter from the solution obtained in the step [3].
