abstract The invention concerns a halogen-free flameproof styrene composition based on aromatic vinyl polymer preferably impact-resistant, polyphenylene ether, phosphorus compounds and phenolic resin. The inventive composition, as a result of appropriate selection of the aromatic vinyl polymer and the proper balance in the selection and proportions of the other additives, has processability characteristics, in particular injecting ability, enabling formation of a finished component with complex shape having both good mechanical and thermal properties and good fire resistance. The inventive composition is useful in various applications and in particular in television units, office automation, telephony, electricity.
