Use of sumo- and ubiquitin-modified pcna for detection and channeling of dna transaction pathways |
abstract |
The invention concerns the use and detection of SUMOylated and/or ubiquitylated PCNA for the detection and channelling of DNA transaction pathways within cells and cell-like systems. The invention also concerns antibodies that specifically recognise differentially SUMOylated and/or ubiquitylated forms of PCNA. Moreover, the invention concerns screening methods for the isolation of compounds that can be used to selectively enhance or suppress DNA transaction activities of cells and cell-like systems. |
