abstract The present invention describes a method and a system for disclosing enzyme inhibitorsnthat are characterized by a particular mechanism of action. The method comprisesna combined usage of a number of software components. The number of hardware componentsncombine an enzyme (E) and a substrate molecule (S), and the number of softwarencomponents monitor a relationship between biochemical reaction rates and molecularnreaction mechanisms, when the substrate (S) converts into a product (P), andnwhen the enzyme (E) regenerates. The system of the present invention constitutesna hardware system that utilizes the method of the invention. The hardware comprisesna device for mixing of biochemical reactants, said reactants being enzymes,nsubstrates, and inhibitors, and furthermore comprises a device for the monitoringna course and an extent of enzyme reactions.
