The present invention relates to methods of providing cells to target mammalian tissue, said methods using a glycoconjugate to deliver the cell to a desired organ of said mammal. The methods according to the invention are particularly suitable for the administration of lymphoid cells such as natural killer cells (NK) activated by interleukin-2 (IL-2), killer cells activated by lymphokines (LAK), and / or tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL), and / or cytotoxic lymphocytes (CTL), or stem cells such as those derived from bone marrow or from umbilical cord tissue. The methods according to the invention also make it possible to supply a gene of interest to mammalian tissue, by the introduction of a cell containing the gene of interest and by the administration of a glycoconjugate to the mammal. |
