The present invention relates to a method for treating or preventing a disorder associated with taking antibiotics in a patient in need thereof, by administering thereto ramoplanin in an amount and for a period effective to treat the disorder. This disorder may be due, for example, to the presence of a bacterium such as the enterotoxin which produces strands of C. difficile, C. perfringens, or S. aureus. |
