Dna inducing cancer cell-specific expression and cancer cell-specific expression vector |
abstract |
It is intended to provide a DNA inducing cancer cell-specific expression which causes gene expression specifically in cancer cells and a recombinant vector containing this DNA. More specifically speaking, a DNA containing at least a part of a DNA having +22 bases from the 5’-upper 2667 base starting with the transcription initiation point of Q5 antigen gene of a mouse non-classical histocompatible antigen gene (MHC class Ib gene) (SEQ ID NO:1), and a vector containing the same. It is also ntended to provide a method which comprises transferring a vector containing the above DNA together with a nucleotide sequence encoding a target protein, a target polypeptide or RNA into cancer cells and expressing the target polypeptide or RNA specifically in the cancer cells. The above vector is applicable to the prevention, treatment and diagnosis of cancer. It is also possible to develop a novel gene therapy method for cancer and a cancer vaccine. |
