The invention relates to a method for producing organofunctional silanes of general formula (1), according to which a silane of general formula (2) is electrochemically reacted with a compound of general formula R<1>-Y by using an undivided electrolysis cell, provided that a maximum of 0.1 mol of a complexing agent is present per mol of X.
