abstract An image formation device and a computer system having an effective communication system. An antenna provided can radio communicate with both of a developing unit element of a developing unit mounted on a developing unit mounting/detaching portion and a photosensitive unit element of a photosensitive unit mounted on a photosensitive unit mounting/detaching portion. Alternatively, an antenna provided can communicate with elements of a plurality of developing units mounted on the developing unit mounting/detaching portion of a rotary body by a plurality of rotation angles of the rotary body and when the rotary body rotates with the developing unit mounted on the mounting/detaching portion, the outermost radius R of the trace drawn by the developing unit and the outermost radius r of the trace drawn by the element satisfy the relationship of R > r. Information is written onto the developing unit element during a period from the moment when the developing unit has reached the position to oppose to the photosensitive body to the moment when it reaches the detachment position while the rotary body is rotating. The information is written while no AC voltage is applied to the developing unit.
