abstract A process for extinguishing a fire, using an inert gas in its liquid phase as the fire extinguishing agent. The extinguishing agent must be a clean agent so it must not be electrically conductive and it must not leave any post evaporation residue. The extinguishing agent possesses properties that make the agent the capable of extinguishing fires. Also, the process does not have any effects that are harmful to the environment.
