abstract The invention relates to the production of specific liposomes for the pulmonary administration of medicaments. The liposomes that are formulated from the substances DPPC and cholesterol with a molar ratio of 7:3 or 7:4 are supplemented with non-toxic additives such as sphingomyelin, dimyristoylphosphatidylcholine and/or polyethylenglycol, and are stable when atomized using commercially available atomizers while simultaneously having delayed release kinetics of the active substance.
