abstract A stretchable core-sheath type composite yarn having an excellent stretchability and a soft feeling, and being capable of deep-color dyeing, comprising a core portion composed of elastic yarns each consisting of at least one elastic fiber and having an elongation at break of at least 70%, and a sheath portion composed of non-elastic yarns each consisting of a plurality of non-elastic fibers each having an elongation at break of at least 70% and surrounding the core portion. A stretchable woven-knit fabric having a high elongation and being capable of deep-color dyeing can be obtained by using this composite yarn.
