titleOfInvention DOUBLE OXIDE WITH n TYPE THERMOELECTRIC CHARACTERISTICS
abstract A double oxide whose composition is represented by the general formula: La1-xMxNiO2.7-3.3 (wherein M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Na, K, Li, Zn, Pb, Ba, Ca, Al, Nd, Bi and Y; and 0.01 ≤ x ≤ 0.8) or the general formula: (La1-xMx)2NiO3.6-4.4 (wherein M and x are as defined above), the double oxide having a negative Seebeck coefficient at 100ºC or higher. This double oxide is a novel material capable of exhibiting superior performance as an n type thermoelectric transduction material.
