abstract |
The invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for producing double-layer electrochemical capacitors and lead-acid accumulators exhibiting high specific energy and power characteristics and is capable to store and release electrical energy at a high rate. The inventive double-layer electrochemical capacitor comprises a spatial grid of a positive electrode embodied in the form of a porous matrix made of acid-resistant glass fibres and an active material in the form of lead dioxide. The current collector of a negative electrode is made of a conducting material provided with a protective coating of the surface thereof. |
