| abstract |
A stent comprises a plurality of serpentine bands (104). Each serpentine band (104) has alternating peak regions (108) and trough regions (112) and extends about substantially the entire circumference of the stent. At least one of the serpentine bands (104) has a spline (116) extending therefrom toward a serpentine band (104) adjacent thereto. Serpentine bands (104) which are adjacent one another are connected one to the other. |
