titleOfInvention | Method for the continuous production of biomethanol diesel |
abstract | The invention relates to a method for the continuous production of biomethanol diesel in smaller amounts, for example for local energy supply on the land. The aim of the invention is to develop a continuous method for the production of biomethanol diesel, which requires minimal investment in equipment, independent of the production volumes, which can be economically carried out and simply managed in the smallest plants from a production volume of 0.05 kt/a upwards. According to the invention the freshly pressed oils are washed twice in the microreactor cascade to give an acid number SZ </= 0.1 before the transesterification process with methanol. As a result of the washing cascade before the transesterification process the free fatty acids and other plant materials are removed from the oils. Microreactors are used for both the washing process and the transesterification. The method operates at temperatures of 65 DEG C. The transesterification itself is two-staged. The unit can also be used for washing oils. Product purification is simplified as a result of the selected raw material preparation. |
