abstract The invention relates to a beverage of vegetable origin which is made from starch, starch flour or cereals and which is supplemented with proteins, vitamins and minerals. The inventive beverage contains water as the majority component thereof and a minimum quantity of milk. Moreover, said beverage has a high nutritional quality, 250 ml thereof providing approximately 25 % of daily recommended intake (RDI) levels, and, preferably, a pH of 7.
