titleOfInvention | Device for monitoring the formation of a coating and water-carrying device |
abstract | The aim of the invention is to create a device for monitoring the formation of a coating, which makes it possible to determine the degree of water hardness or a tendency of the degree of water hardness to change over time and take measures for adjusting the desired degree of water hardness accordingly. Said aim is achieved by the inventive device for monitoring the formation of coatings, comprising a transparent element that is provided with two end surfaces, at least one element emitting an optical signal, and at least one element receiving an optical signal. The transparent element is configured in such a way that the element emitting the optical signal and the element receiving the optical signal are directly adjacent to the end surfaces of the transparent element. The end surfaces are arranged such that they remain free of coatings at all times. |
