A fluorescent sensor for phosphate ions or phosphorylated peptides which comprises a compound selectively fluorescing by the action of phosphate ions and represented by the following general formula (1). In the formula (1), FL represents a fluorescent functional group or fluorescent group of atoms which has an aromatic ring or heterocycle (e.g., dimethylanthryl) and X represents a functional group or group of atoms which undergoes elimination in an aqueous solution to become an anion (e.g., NO3). |
